History:

The City of Cape Coral, incorporated in 1970 is located on the Southwest coast of Florida, in Lee County.  Cape Coral is about 3 hours south of Tampa and 2.5 hours North West of Miami.Cape Coral is a geographic peninsula located between the scenic Caloosahatchee River, Charlotte harbor and the Intracostal Waterway. Traveling on the Caloosahatchee River gives a boater access to Lake Okeechobee and then the East Coast of Florida. Business Opportunities:  Cape Coral’s location between Tampa and Miami causes Cape Coral to be a major distribution point between the two Economic Hubs.

Four Mile Cove Ecological Park:  Offers 4,200 feet (1 Meters) of walking trails throughout unspoiled wetlands and mangroves, with a visitor and information center. Mike Greenwell’s Family Fun Park:  This amusement center features a fish-feeding dock, a 15,000 Square foot paint ball facility, bumper cars, playground, miniature golf, batting cages, four 4 go-cart tracks, snack bar and 6,000 square foot arcade. Open all Year. Rotary Park Environmental Center:  Offers nature trails, an observation tower, and a variety of classes and programs.
